Join the 2025 Cornholer of the Year Tournament
There is no cost to participate. To qualify for the preliminary round, you have to do is play in one of the four qualifying tournaments during the season.
A - Players participating in only one qualifying tournament will be placed in a play-in bracket, with the winner advancing to the losers bracket of the tournament. They will automatically have one loss when entering the tournament in the loser's bracket to face a team that has dropped to the loser's bracket. Seeding will be random draw.
B - Players participating in two or more tournaments will be seeded based on the number of tournaments, then random draw. Players that have played in two or more tournaments will be placed in a double elimination bracket. Players finishing in first place of any tournament will be paired together and will receive a bye.
C - Partners will be assigned in order of seeding. Seeds 1&2 will be on a team, 3&4 will be on a team, etc.

2019 Cornholer of the Year
Each team plays each other during the group stage during the regular weekly Cornhole Tournaments. Any games featuring two teams from the Cornholer of the Year Contest that occur during the weekly Catbox Cornhole Tournaments will count unless the two team have already played before, in which case the first meeting will count. Games do not have to be played in order and multiple rounds may be played during each weekly tournament. Once the group stage is complete the top four teams will move on to the knockout round to be played the final tailgate of the year.

2020 Cornholer of the Year
This year there are four teams vying for the title of Cornholer of the Year. Each team will play each other twice in the round robin group stage. Once the group stage is complete the top two teams will meet off for one winner takes all game to be crowned Cornholer of the Year. The first set of games took place on November 8th. The group stage and championship will take place November 29th and December 13th.
